Ostara Game Jam has become a yearly game jam put on by the Omaha Game Dev Association, RHO Interactive, and the University of Nebraska Omaha. A game jam is a rapid prototype event where you have a limited time frame in order to make a game. Game jams can be for digital developers or analog developers. Over the last few years, I have taken game jams to do tabletop-specific games. In 2024 I decided to take the game jams and stick to narrative-driven games. The theme for the 2024 Ostara was “It Speaks To Me”. I had a few ideas come up. One promising one was a scavenger hunt/choose-your-own adventure game set in Omaha Nebraska, Lincoln Nebraska, or even across the whole state of Nebraska itself. I also had an opportunity to run a Star Trek Adventures game for Star Trek Adventures Broken Sword. This is the regular livestream game that I am a part of on Twitch.tv/GMInTheGreatBarrier Twitch channel. I honestly worked on both games for a while. Coming up with compelling ideas for both of them. Ultimately I began to focus on the Star Trek Adventures game. This happens a lot to folks during a game jam. They have a few ideas and are able to work their way through some of them, others have to get scrapped. Version 1 - Game Jam Edition

It is being revised. It needs to be tested. It needs proper stat blocks and editing. This is an extremely rough adventure that I aim to improve upon.
